COLLEGE & CAREER READINESS PROGRAM
There are THREE different paths to our College & Career Readiness Program. Our mission remains the same on whichever path you choose. We aim to empower high school students to discover their purpose, unlock opportunities, and step confidently into their future.
Path 1: School | District Partnership
Partnering with schools to expand equity-driven college and career readiness.
This path provides a holistic immersion experience, equipping up to 40 high school juniors and seniors with the tools necessary to navigate college and career pathways, develop emotional literacy through positive psychology, and cultivate resilience and well-being.
Through a combination of academic support, coaching, and emotional wellness strategies, students will participate in personalized learning experiences, community engagement projects, and direct skill-building workshops. The program aims to promote self-awareness, a discovery of purpose in life, and meaningful community involvement while addressing generational trauma and social-emotional barriers that hinder student success.
By the end of the program, students will emerge with increased self-confidence, a personal college and career assessment, SWOT analysis, enhanced leadership abilities, a sense of belonging, and established pathways toward college or career success.
The program will serve up to 40 students* and consist of 32 hours of in-person sessions with ongoing monthly and quarterly follow-up services throughout the specified term of the contract. Students will receive a certificate at the end of the program.
Cost Averages $1000.00 per student.
*This program is designed to support at-risk and/or justice-involved high school students. Freshmen and Sophomores will work together as one cohort, while Juniors and Seniors will work together as separate cohort.
Path 2: Private Coaching
One-on-One Guidance for Families Seeking Individualized Support
This path provides personalized and customized service for each student for support in various steps of the journey. From academic and career assessments to a full review of college applications before submission, we work one-on-one with high school students to help them discover their purpose in life, find the best major, college, and career choice, and thrive.
Cost: $225.00 per hour | Ten-hour minimum.
Path 3: Ventura County Funded
Opening Doors to Purpose and Opportunity for Vulnerable Public High School Students in Ventura County
Our College and Career Readiness STEM Immersion Program launched in July 2025, admitting 48 students. This path is a one-year program with targeted Summer STEM Immersion and workshops on dual enrollment, college prep, and major and career exploration. Students will build community connections with local colleges, employers, stakeholders, and mentors. There are three overarching goals for this immersion program. First, GETA aims to equip students with knowledge, skills, mentors, and resources to qualify for college admissions and professional career opportunities. Second, GETA aims to prepare students with leadership skills and actively seek community engagement volunteer opportunities to help them become active and influential members of the community. Lastly, GETA aims to empower a group of the most vulnerable Ventura County high school students to develop a keen sense of self-awareness and guide them toward discovering a purposeful and meaningful life.

Our programs combine evidence-based practices with human-centered storytelling, ensuring that students and families feel seen, supported, and equipped to succeed.
Where is the location of the workshop?
Yikes, will I need a doctor’s appointment for psychometric testing (i.e. Personal & Career Assessments)?
What do I wear to the workshop?
What do I bring to the workshop?
Please bring a laptop and a water bottle. GETA will provide snacks, lunch, and drinks. Please refrain from bringing ALL nuts (peanut, walnut, pine nut, coconut, almond, etc.) to class.
Am I guaranteed admission to the top school of my choice?
Unfortunately, there are no guarantees. However, GETA will work effortlessly to make sure that your application will shine as bright as possible for the opportunity to be admitted.
What is the refund policy for private sessions?
If you are paid in full and are unable to attend or complete any of the sessions, we are happy to try to accommodate another time. If you are unable to attend any sessions before the start date, we are happy to credit your account minus a $150.00 processing fee. Additionally, you will be charged for any completed psychometric testing, and the profile results will be emailed to you.
